Our projects

Um Mami

Morocco

As a country greatly admired for its cuisine, Morocco’s potential on the global culinary stage is huge. Yet more than a third of its young population neither works, nor has access to education. The opportunity to create deeply fulfilling jobs is immense. The Food and Culinary Center was established with the goal of promoting job creation in Morocco by nurturing and inspiring a new generation of chefs and culinary entrepreneurs.

MANQ'A & GUSTU

Bolivia & Columbia

In 2013, Melting Pot Foundation Bolivia and OXFAM Denmark set their sights on Bolivia’s culinary landscape. Drawing inspiration and learning from the success of the creation of Noma and the New Nordic Manifesto, the goal was to kick-start a culinary movement in a developing nation, while measuring its impact. Two projects in particular stand out, for their impact on the Bolivian food scene.

Smagens Time

Denmark

SMAGENS TIME is our annual Danish event for children. Parents and adults stay behind, when around 100 danish restaurants invite kids between the ages of 5 and 15 inside for an unforgettable dinner.
